Principal’s welcome

Bail ó Dhia oraibh agus fáilte romhaibh go léir chuig suíomh gréasáin na scoile. On behalf of our school community, I would like to welcome you to the website of Coláiste De Lacy. We are a brand new, co- educational post-primary school located in Ashbourne, Co Meath. We welcomed our first cohort of students in August 2014.

Coláiste De Lacy is committed to achieving the highest standards and as such, it implements a modern and innovative approach to teaching and learning. There is a particular emphasis on learning to learn and building the learning power of our students. We aim to provide the best educational experience and developmental opportunities for our students.

This website will provide a small insight into the wide range of activities available in our school. We hope that it also conveys the amazing, caring, positive, respectful and co-operative atmosphere that defines us as a school. Every member of our school community is a leader and contributes in a positive, responsible way to our school.
